moving virgin media HD box

I would like to move my virgin media HD box from one bedroom to another. VM have quoted £99 for an engineer to do it.
The cable comes into the house through bedroom 1, through a hole in the wall into bedroom 2 and then through another hole in the wall into bedroom 3.
We want to pull the cable back through the holes into bedroom 1.
Virgin media advised I can unscrew the metal connector and pull the cable through and then screw the metal connector back on in bedroom 1.
Sorry if I am being thick (dubious of VM advice !) but is it as simple as that ? Single mum cant afford £99 !

yes it is that simple, just a cable, no complicated connections or anything0

Thanks ! All seems a bit daunting when you have no experience with electrical stuff and don't know what you're doing

I would imagine they would cut it where it comes through the wall or leaving enough on it to go where it needs to in bedroom one. I don't think they would try to pull it all the way through back.
That's depending on how easy it is to pull back through the holes though i guess. I personally would have it running under boards if it was me, i hate seeing cables clipped around.0
