Is it possible to use to use my TalkTalk packages with another line rental provier

I have had my TalkTalk Simply Broadband for over a year and would like to know if I could change the line rental provider.
As I am past the introductory offer contract for Simply Broadband, I must know am I still to keep with the existing line for a further 12 months or can I change it? I am interested in their Superfast Broadband deal (£7.50 a month) and would like to combine this with The Co-operatives line rental (£12.50 per month). I have heard that Plusnet allows for this.

I am still new to switching providers, so any help, or better fibreoptic broadband solutions, will be appreciated.

Extremely unlikely as TalkTalk is an LLU provider that uses their own equipment in the exchange. To get their BB you usually need to take their line rental.

I have heard that Plusnet allows for this.

PlusNet is different as it's not an LLU provider and it uses BT equipment in the exchange. So you could have a phone line with one BT provider and BB with another. BB alone with PlusNet is dearer than BB with LR.

As jem has advised this wouldn't be possible with us. The two are interlinked as they are provided via our own LLU equipment in the exchange.

We do offer a reduced price on line rental if you pay 12 months in advance by using our Value Line Rental offer
