Relish Broadband (london) review - 25MB speed acheived

"Relish" is £20 a month and runs on 4G mobile network so you can ditch the BT landline and save £17 a month. So it can be a pretty good deal.
(actually it might be 4.5G which has been rolled out in London but kept secret!)
It has terrible reviews!! People saying it cuts out, speeds are slow etc.
I plugged mine in yesterday and it ran at 25MB-27MB consistently over peak time. Delivery was next working day, set up was extremely simple and took a few seconds. It claims you could get 50MB - yeah right..
My current broadband is EE (a moneysavingexpert special deal) on a BT phone-line and crawls at 1MB-2MB. The difference is quite amazing.
However the signal does come from mobile masts and I'm sure that if you're in a basement flat or surrounded by large buildings then your speeds on Relish could be much worse. You need to place the router near a window too.
The good news is (I suspect) that if you live higher than the 2nd floor (council block or fancy block of flats) then it could be a very good broadband service and ditch the monopolistic BT landline charge for other broadband services.

Glad it's working for you, but Relish covers very little of London so far other than the central postcodes. No free lunch, and no free laptop

What is the monthly usage cap ??0

It is "unlimited".
They might be allowed to priority some traffic or "throttle" if you start being a massive downloader I guess0
