I am looking a signal booster for an o2 mobile .
It is for a friend and they dont have a landline .
The signal outside the house is good but inside is rubbish .

All 'boosters' are illegal to use in UK except those supplied by networks and working via broadband.
  • I have an O2 signal booster but am on a business contract - it cost £50 I think - but I'm pretty sure isn't available to those on personal contracts.

One option, if they have Wifi, is the O2 "TuGo" app - this is an app installed on the phone and allows sending of text messages / phonecalls over the Wifi connection. This also works abroad so is useful if you travel to a hotel with Wifi and it'll take the allowance out of your UK minutes / texts etc.

though annoyingly, if you are pay-as-you-go, you can't use the TuGo app, it only works with O2 contract users.

    3. O2 BOOSTBOX SERVICE

The O2 Boostbox Service is only available for purchase, ownership and in life support by O2 Business Customers and not for non O2 Business Customers. ***However O2 consumer customers may be authorised to use the O2 Boostbox Service as long as they have an O2 3G SIM card and are registered for the O2 Boostbox Service.***
