wrong calculation

the bank has never been in touch with claims company sent me monies both times I paid claims company they did not even know I had been paid until I told them. 1yr later bank paid wrong calculation did not pay claims company because I thought i had finished with them and bank sorted second payment . thanks for your help wait and see if they get in touch I think they are cold calling as they said on phone I may have been short paid and do I want them to look into it I told them no they havnt phoned since thanks for advice I will wait and see what happens

Sounds like the CMC are just getting desperate and fishing. There are some banks whose redress calculation methods have contained errors. However, if that is the case they will get in touch with you directly. Unfortunately, the CMC would probably be entitled to their cut of any such redress, since it came about as a result of their complaint.
