I know we are getting near to the end of this thread please can someone give me chance to try and mend the broken links on the first page before I hand over the baton. I'm just going to fire up lappie and give it a go. I know I should have done it sooner but that's how I am everything last minute. :eek:

A question about driver awareness courses

how much do they cost?
how long is it between sending off your letter and getting a reply with an offer of a place (rather than a fine and points)
how often can you book and then change your date and time of course?
how many hours long are they - are they day, weekend or evening sessions?
are they accessed - is there a test at the end?
what happens to your licence now its all card based?
is your insurance company automatically told or do you wait until renewal time?

I looked at the website but it needs your licence number to get access.

no its not me that has been naughty - nearly 2 years since I drove.

thanks for this so the initial info from Total couponery was duff - so many similar sounding products.

I really like the dusted code we had before but not enough to spend £3 on it when similar things are £2

I won my jawbone up when they were nearly £100 - about a third of that new and several new very jazzy versions.
I didn't use it straight away. We had a day in London with eldest child and she had a phone app and it showed she walked 20k steps :eek: - OMG she walked the legs off us.
so after that I set mine up and I've worn it ever since.
I have the activity reminder set up for 45 mins so if I slump in a chair I get reminded to get moving and keep moving.

The buttons are a bit of a design fault, not really suitable for the job they do. I've had 3 go on me now but its very easy to get in touch with them and get your band replaced if the worst happens.
