I know the lad offered the lady in front if me a free Sun but she declined :D - not surprising really.
I just got my 12 copies for £4.80 with no discount - not that I mind as I would rather spend money in our local shop - also it has contactless payments so I used my TSB 5% card

Rather chuffed with myself had £1 off £5 spend from coop from buying suns last week bought 10 and something for £1 so that was free. :D And I have another £1 off for next week. :T

I didn't want to take too many as know a lot of elderly people use this store to get their newspapers. It's the only store within walking distance of some sheltered accommodation and bungalows where mostly older people live. Lovely staff there they often ask after me as they remember my mum. :A

A question about COS and the new offer for £1.50 for the dusted cod.

Has anyone got theirs yet and if so how much and if its gone to paid please do you have the barcode pretty please.

Total couponery said they were £2 in both Mr !!!!!! and Sada - I am terrified of going into Sada at the moment incase the tills have been revamped so I went to !!!!!! instead - also a good excuse to talk some bags to the food bank collection.

But instead of being £2 they were £3 :(
So I didn't get them - there was a number of similar fish things at £2 but none of them looked correct. I also looked in Morribobs but they didn't really seem to stock the range at all and what they had was £3

Now I am convinced that I was not looking at the right things at all.

Cheapest I have found is £3 in T I think they may be £3.49 in A and possibly S
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Why not get more newspapers and bottles ?

    :rotfl:

Because in the store I was in they only had raspberry or pear which are ok but not really like cider....and it was blowing a gale and rain with hailstones and I couldnt justify driving anywhere else....

Sometimes its not all about just because its free with a newspaper..minus the cost of the rag

Yes £3 in Tesco so I didn t bother. Got quite excited when I found the pancake mix in a plastic bottle thing. It was massive. Then I saw the price £4  for 8 to 10 servings. Still dear even with the £2 off er on cos and cs so I left them as well.:(

Bought some canderel don't like them much though. Fussy Susie.

Mhoc had an email from that special website for nectar and they are going to put my 1,000 point on by tomorrow :) result.

Have any of you received your £10 Tesco and £10 Morrisson s vouchers yet . I haven t and it's been a while

just done my cidre shop...3 and the vouchers were put through individually no problems in T....
No great RTC bargains...saw a couple of the gold hobgoblin kegs but left them as Tiny says its beer! and we therefore wouldnt like it....but I did pick up a couple of extra stella cidre 4 can packs that were RTC at £2.15

so I guess T have selected things out and the RTC is changing daily....

I also managed a womble of a receipt where 92 points hadnt been added to the CC...

Did you check for San Miguel. That's not "beer". :D

Someone told me it was put on HUKD about 4pm yesterday so way before I noticed the SEL in the superstore later that evening. My extra had loads today.

Also had restocked all 5l kegs I bought some more of the gold as it will save us so much I am looking at it as an investment, Mr TS buys beer every week and spends just over a tenner on a jug from brewery but the gold is on par in his opinion, I couldn't make 20% interest on my savings. :o

they are....but whats the point of trawlling round shops where clearly the stock is dwindling ...I could end up spending a fortune in petrol for free sweet cider that isnt particularly nice....I got what I needed, and picked up a couple of something else that was RTC that I might actually prefer.
