Aww that is lovely HILLBERN. Alan worked self employed doing car boots, mainly vinyl records, and always wore a hat of some sort, he had quite a collection (and I still have them all). The top hat was the favourite, he just kept adding animals to it. Kids, and adults too, used to love seeing what hat he had on each week.

The top hat had pride of place on top of his coffin at the crematorium but I did bring it home with me. I got them to dress him in his beloved Sunderland shirt and he was dressed as he would for the car boot, complete with Micky Mouse Magician hat ... or and a crumpled up clean handkerchief in his pocket, he wouldn't leave the house without his hankie

The support I received from the Elite at the time of his illness and his death after only 4 months was amazing and will stay with me for ever :A :A

:T What a lovely vivid picture you paint when describe him on his last journey...so pleased you had his pride and joy brought home with you.
Was that at Wisbech market/car boot he use to attend?

Stunning cushions Di...I think I love the chicken ones...somehow they remind me of VT's batik paintings that she knows I love....

cant see any prices but I've also seen some lovely vases too that sis might like......

    Another possible bookmarked website.

The batik will have to go soon as will be out of place in my new house but I have enjoyed it.
Doing a secret santa with local fb craft group. Just got to put wording on painting when I get back then I will post.
Art class is all about going back to basics this year but I have found a set of 3 paintings I would like to do and at home I am going to have a go at book folding.

Can't add to your list of presents I am afraid. My shopping is done and have kept it simple this year, simple shops with lovely 50% opportunities but very chic.

Snoring 3 year old by my side ready for our very early morning flight an dd not back from company birthday party. They had a west end performance of Pricilla queen of the desert. Something dd was wanting to see. Told her she better be on first bus home as her poor oh has to collect her from the airport. So hoping she gets a corporate goody bag as she is mse enough to ask for one for her mum:)

Oh I'd forgotten about the rice pudding:o

Seriously, how can food be that bad?

We did get a nice glass of wine each though........:D

I had the white wine and yes that was nice. I wish DD2 had asked for one too as we noticed when we sat down other people had both glasses of wine and water.

And as for sitting last time they had tables laid up this time it was in the part of the bar where there was mostly those high stools by the time we got there the few chairs at tables were already taken so we had to sit up at a ledge. I had to do a bit of mountaineering to get up on my seat. :o:eek::rotfl:

I'm really chuffed as none of the labels are damaged so I could gift some of these.

What about those bottles of English champagne that LEJC posted about yesterday fiver in As I think they were. They looked very impressive for gifts.

    New system on self service
    Step 1
    Scan bottom barcode on apg
    Step 2
Type in TC number from receipt eg the long number you type into your computer to get the apg

New system on maned till is slightly different so I won't explain as staff get upset when you tell them how to do there job

My advise is just use step 1&2 on self service but this method I have used only on apg's under £10:cool:
Can you please share this with the Facebook group as I know a few have had problems today .
I've made it as simple as possible :)

    Very nice of you.
