    Isn't the best bit "feeding it"......I love the traditions leading up to Christmas....it'll soon be time to get my seasonal tea cosy out:rotfl:
    Good morning everyone. Hi TM. Just fed my cake for the 3rd time. 3 tbsp brandy/port/sherry blend. It gets made last weekend in Sept, then left for 4 weeks. It then gets fed the blend every week rotating top and bottom. By Christmas you can not drive if you eat a big piece and is lovely and moist. Love the smell.

    Good morning. The Poppies Wave sculpture is on tour and currently at Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield. Please forgive the large photo, I thought it appropriate for today (linked from YSP site).

    Thoughts today are with all who have served and are serving our country and particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice or are living with the consequences.

    Tweets the list keeper - just a suggestion - maybe the Barilla pasta daily draw could be added to the list - you get 3 50p MOCs to print each day

    When I get back on the main computer I will copy and paste the posting from yesterday :)

    I love the smell of Xmas cake cooking,how do you make sure the top stays flat and smooth instead of risen and cracked.

    Pure luck for me ....I haven't even got a temperature dial on my oven:rotfl:
    Anyway even if the top does look a bit wonky it's getting covered anyway:p

    I know, but in my defence I was blind sided by Mrs Anon taking an interest in cash back shopping and requesting Tumeric. I will try harder to pay attention.

    Do you know it would be terrible if our spices were the same as us.....we would all be wearing hair shirts and eating pot noodles..

    Oh hang on.......:think::think:
