He took a blank cheque to work.

Started off saying was spending about £30 ended up spending £45 but at least it's gone to good cause as he works for a charity.

I dread to think what else he has squirrelled away, he already had half the stuff from my dad's shed out there which he added to his own. How many tools does a man really need. :rotfl:

More than he can ever have.

Actually - I'm back (we're friends you see, I like being here;)) - speaking of own label, or alternative, products we tried out Mr A's Honey Nut Cornflakes recently (due to no good prices or glitches on Kellogg's Crunchy Nut:(). As you know Crunchy Nut are my favourite:D:D, so it was quite a thing for another one to match.
And it did!:T It wasn't exactly the same, but perfectly fine - I liked it. I'd say neither better nor worse than Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. Or, rather, about it being as good - :(:(:mad:(:rotfl:). Someone else in the house, who normally refuses to eat own brand cereals:wall: - they'll be having virtually nowt as unable to get anything else at any reasonable price;) - has taken to the A Honey Nut Cornflakes with vigour and has used up a lot of them! I'm not best pleased - they are going wayyy too quickly, and I like them too.

Not happy with Mr A either. These were £1.00 for 500g pack and £1.50 for 750g pack (I got one 750g but even then it's not been enough:mad:) - but I now see the 750g have gone up to £1.76:eek::( and the 500g have shot up to £1.48! How something can go up that much, 48% increase yet inflation is supposed to be zero...!:(:(

750g pack: Now not 10% cheaper than T:(, so you can't just pick up one pack, the one item, just buy solely that and have it at least 10% cheaper than elsewhere but they have to have you doing an APG shop and getting more items before they'll make it to that:mad:. It can be brought down in price - by doing an APG shop against T:( - but not as good as before.

500g pack: £1.48:eek:. Nearly as much as the 750g pack was before:(. Surprise, surprise, not 10% cheaper than at least one competitor.

Apparently, I should buy in Aldi. Thanks msm for that:T:T:T. :eek:I slightly overpaid! (£1.50 for 750g in A before?_pale_:rotfl:) However, it was bought with a womble. Now requiring better wombles before we can get the same amount as before in A:(. I might just add it to my next Aldi shop (if I remember:o:o:rotfl:) even if paying and then save the wombles to something that keeps their value a bit more;):).

I will check Lidl (as they are within walking distance - gets me a bit of exercise:rotfl:) - obviously not now, will have to wait until another day - and see that, this time, I'm not paying too much on cereal buying there:rotfl:.

Otherwise, will Harvest Morn in Aldi be as good as Kellogg's? I bet it will:rotfl::rotfl:. It's all got homey and nuts, and I like those sorts of things in a cereal like this so actually I don't know why I held Kellogg's in such esteem (even though they are really good:D) - and others will be good too - "the trouble is...":mad::mad: (in fact I need one that the other person hates but I really like:rotfl::rotfl:, don't stand a chance do I?:rotfl:).

It also helps other meds to work. I need it for my strokes as well as for my ulcers .

It is very effective my mum certainly knew it if she forgot to take it. And you don't know how guilty I felt once when I had forgotten to order repeat prescription. I had sorted her meds into pill dispenser for the week and ran out of that one meaning to add at later date. She went about 3 days without it. :o
