Its funny how you always remember your first 1p find instore..mine were goldenballs, and headphones in the same trip....

I remember chucking them all through the SS till then trying to obscure the till receipt so the assistant would remove the security tags on the headphones.

We still have 3 pairs of headphones unopened, but sadly no goldenballs left

    Happy memories!

I still have headphones not sure whether I paid 4p though, I was robbed. :rotfl:

That was another thing they kept restocking those golden balls I'm sure me and Dodo must have had a couple hundred between us. :o

I must admit all the 1p chocolate over the years I have gone off chocolate.

We haven't really had a good 1p/4p bash this year have we? :(

The saddo in me has emerged..I've just checked my spreadsheets and this year I have spent 57p on penny items...

a few christmas bits candy canes and similar, some thorntons boxes...the ones with the alpini or vienesse whips.....

and 35 bottles of that highland spring apple water that was so packed with sugar it gave everyone a migrane....

no..we havent had much of any use this year!

H&S no longer working. The worst part though was that it wasn't in the 3 for £10 any longer in my store and they charged me £24.93 for the 3:eek:. refused of course but I was hoping it would still compare. Means it cancelled out the little gains on the other items:(. Oh well, swings and roundabouts.
