i am :eek::eek: at the electric prices mine was £79 a month but i was overpaying and had a large credit so has been put down . and i was moaning about that:o:o and we dont have gas.
We only pay £90 month for a 3 bedroom house gas and electric, had a credit paid back earlier this year but we have been paying the same for couple of years now since having our new boiler last year we have been using a lot less. I'm not sure yet how our electric shower has affected things yet as our old bathroom just used the water from the tank so heated by gas. Also DD2 being back home will have made a bit of a difference she is only usually home for August. :eek:0 -
That must have stopped early evening - my 17.33 shop was OK for Rice Krispie things, Alpen and pork mince. I was lucky to squeeze in before the cut off.
That's about the same time as last week. So, I assume two hours - you checked at about 19.33?
So, we're on Monday's price collection. But I have no clue as what went on offer on Monday:rotfl:. So, just the regular items and m.com until I can rectify that situation. I was going to look for the Tetley teas in any event, but already I've realised by the time I get details back (which we know anyway:doh:) the CB offer will have expired by the time it updates from Wednesday! So, they'll be snuck in on Wednesday night as non-bold (as already working from Monday - or, in actual fact, we only know working from last Wednesday but probably will continue to work from Monday's data that we are now on?), new items undoubtedly too - they'll appear in bold - and I'll remove the teas (that I'll add tomorrow) sometime later the following day:wall: as CB offer will have gone, making them useless:p:rotfl::rotfl:. Fwiw:rotfl:. Don't know why I bother, do you?:D:rotfl:0 -

I've lived here five months and so far this is what I think
The hot water is very hot and doesn't take long to heat up and lasts a long time.
The radiators never seem to get as hot as gas central heating.
The fan outside is big and ugly and does make a bit of a noise, but it's not that bad
But now I'm worked out how to use it ( as had no instructions) I'm paying £80-£100 a month my heating is on in the morning and night from 5 til 10. Water is heated 3 times a day, I'm at home all day really 3 kids using everything and dh with his big shed with everything powered .
Once I've got through the winter I'll let you know!!!
I really need to get of prepayment as it costing a lot more.
That will be great x100 -
Just realised that not only did I not claim Cashback for the 2x10 Schwartz, I also got those awful Up&Go and Slow Cooker mixes, so wasted even more money as didn't enter receipts within the week of shopping

Here are 20 things you’ll understand too if you’ve got three children.
1. Going on holiday with your parents seems really appealing for the first time since you were a kid.
2. One bowl of snacks on the table? You’d better be fast, kids.
3. Everyone talks at the same time. All the time.
4. The baby has seen Star Wars.
5. You’re outnumbered. You only have two hands so the eldest two have to hold on to one finger each and try not to trip each other up.
6. In the playground you can only really keep an eye on the youngest. The other two can fend for themselves (though you’ve had strong words with them about never leaving the park without you, of course).
7. Holidays, day trips and activities all seem to be set up for families of four. Now you’ve got a fifth family member they’re a pain to organise and really expensive.
8. Only wooden baby-safe toys? No, that’s ok baby, you play with that Marble Run.
9. Someone, usually the youngest, always has to wait around at ballet, swimming or football.
10. You hear this at least once every day: ‘Wow, you have three kids? That must be so hard.’
11. The food bill is astronomical. How do they eat so much?
12. The first two kids love the baby more than anything. Except when he/she pokes them in the eye/scrunches up their homework/eats a piece of jigsaw.
13. You never, ever get enough sleep. Not even close.
14. A nap routine for the youngest? No chance. They can sleep en route to school.
15. There’s laundry everywhere. Clean and dirty, huge piles of it. It’s never ironed and put away.
16. You’ve traded in your nippy reliable Micra for a big slow people carrier that you ‘affectionately’ call The Beast.
17. It’s impossible to fit three car seats in a row so one of the adults always has to go in the back.
18. You thought it was something only your Gran did but you have already started mixing up your kids’ names.
19. Organic purees for baby number three?! How young is too young for a fish finger?
20. In football terms you go from man-to-man to dreaded zonal marking.100 -
Odd for an early evening price update? Or are M prices an exception and uploaded out of the normal lunchtime/midday update (whereas multi updates from A side do seem to be reasonably consistent if missing in successful shops in the afternoon it should last until the following morning?).
Anon
No, this is about the same as this time last week. I thought Tuesday mid-morning/ afternoon was the usual time for M price details to change - may be later - aau1 suggested it doesn't update until Wednesday under the 'new' APG system - in the end, we settled in between, at Tuesday evening last week. And it seems it's about the same this week too. So, we're (or I am) thinking Tuesday evening now. And, I think, Friday morning (or possibly Thursday night) for the Wednesday information. Settle on Thursday night/evening - but could be a little earlier.
The midday update thing - which is mentioned in the T&Cs - has always been a different one to the update of the M prices, the timing of which changes around and has been at various times of the day - and has been as early as about 10am Tuesday and as late as Wednesday in the past - under the old system and, I think now, seems to be settling around Tuesday evening. As far as the Monday details are concerned.0 -
