Last winter, my Raynaud's was very severe. I got some heated gloves (no kidding, each finger was individually heated :D) from a site called Primrose, they weren't too bulky and my hands were manageable whilst I was wearing them. I seem to remember they had heated gloves for cyclists as well.

Thanks MKS, I will have a look.

These "lobster" gloves have thumb, 2nd/3rd finger and 4th/5th finger sections never seen anything like them before and when I tried them on they are really comfortable. On bad days my 4th and 5th fingers curl in a bit so think will be better than having my fingers separated anyway we will see worth a try for a fiver. :D

We pay £33 per month for electricity and £56 for gas. DH looks after the online accounts for these so have just sent him off to check whether we have had our £12 :)

    but really appreciate you asking.

Bless ya. Hope the cycles go really quick for you xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.
  • We are considering getting one of these in the new house, you will have to let me know how you get on with it x

    :p
I've lived here five months and so far this is what I think

The hot water is very hot and doesn't take long to heat up and lasts a long time.
The radiators never seem to get as hot as gas central heating.
The fan outside is big and ugly and does make a bit of a noise, but it's not that bad
But now I'm worked out how to use it ( as had no instructions) I'm paying £80-£100 a month my heating is on in the morning and night from 5 til 10. Water is heated 3 times a day, I'm at home all day really 3 kids using everything and dh with his big shed with everything powered .
Once I've got through the winter I'll let you know!!!

I really need to get of prepayment as it costing a lot more.

That must have stopped early evening - my 17.33 shop was OK for Rice Krispie things, Alpen and pork mince. I was lucky to squeeze in before the cut off.

Odd for an early evening price update? Or are M prices an exception and uploaded out of the normal lunchtime/midday update (whereas multi updates from A side do seem to be reasonably consistent if missing in successful shops in the afternoon it should last until the following morning?).
