    It's a draw!:j

So, all of my money-saving efforts last month wiped out by that idiot that's stolen my car mirror:mad::mad:.

Just what happens - experience, chalked down, move on.

I think that the Alpen Lights were due to end yesterday in M so will have gone up now and stop on the next update of the system. Certainly not due today though.

Oh look - they're on "offer price" of £1 on m.com now - was £2:wall:. Yes, and was flippin' 50p in between!:rotfl: How they get away with that...!

Still not too bad a comp. if it compares. Obviously a doubling in price from immediate previous price whichever way you look at it. But A, I assume, still not 10% cheaper.

The Rice Krispie squares, apparently they were on for longer but they've gone up too on m.com now. Apparently was £1.92,... but we know differently. (They never say "was 50p" do they?:rotfl::rotfl:)

The Fox's Rocky 10 biscuits though - allegedly they're still on till tomorrow. But I don't know what they are instore today - if they are 50p there, should still work even when updated tomorrow night/Wednesday and then through until Thursday/Friday (update from Wednesday's collection when, we expect, they will have gone back up in M).

We will share a bag crisps later if she ok :D
That reminds me of a cat my FIL used to have. She would sit and stare at him whenever he ate crisps and he would always say to her "Go and get your own bag" :rotfl:

But think if you hadn't money saved you would now be down.

Will try to contact them yet again, thanks for replying.

Hi I have sold on eBay and sent to a different address no problem just keep a copy of their request to do that. But also when you buy on eBay it gives you the chance to have items sent to a different address i.e.work or if buying something for a friend that lives elsewhere.

Our cockatills loved crisps, so much so that we stopped eating them in the lounge because the noise levels would be horrific.

Well folks I won't able to go to M today. I've been outside, just ready to go, and some unpleasant person has stolen one of the mirrors on my car:(. They don't come cheap either:(:(. I don't suppose I can drive a car to the garage without a driver's mirror can I?

I just took an intake of breath on seeing it - they've ripped out the mirror and taken it and left parts of the frame in damaged bits on the road, close to the car. It's not just the cost obviously, but the disruption as well:(. How someone can just do that.

I've just managed to arrange a new mirror for Wednesday morning (fortunately they have the right colour frame in stock), so from your POV, although that's the least of my concerns, I should be able to go to M on Wednesday. I had everything planned for today and it's now in disarray - don't know what I'll do the rest of the day now.

Don't worry about me emotionally though - I've had so much bad done to me in the past that this is water off a duck's back unfortunately now. I have no idea who's done it and, of course, there's no way of tracing them:(. As usual it always end with the person on the receiving end having to pay:(:(.

I have had mine done again recently as well, they used a biro to get behind the mirror and prized it off carefully taking the clips off. Only bonus was that they cut themselves as was clearly visible on my once red car that's faded pink!! my Ariel has also been prized out as well and the gits took my wipers before, so it is obviously someone with a corsa like mine and I'm funding their habit!!!

True. Trouble was I was merely trying to get back up to break even and had nearly managed that but, now, £260:mad: lost! On top of all my not quite breaking even last month. So, simply now going to take me an extra month, beyond this new current month, before I get back to where I was before.
  • Thank you to all who said alpen will still compare. I hate asking as I, myself find it annoying! But I told a friend who does sw that they are 50p in m and she asked me to get her some for tomorrow. I was going to do a straight m shop but when I went in, as savvy said, they are on a special buy of £1 now!
She gave me a fiver for 10 packs of various flavours so at least this way I can give her change although she won't understand why even if I did try to explain.
