Actually, on an irrelevance here, I notice from that link - the neurotypical world never complies completely and fully with all technical regulations does it? - organisations still never comply fully with Freedom of Information rules. The response mentions an exemption. Well, having done so and relied on an exemption, that triggers the requirement to mention the organisation's internal review process and the Information Commissioner complaints contact.
Other responses from the same public authority elsewhere, where there are subsections to specific exemptions, still only mention the section number and do not state the specific subsection, again contrary to the requirements. This is despite an Information Commissioner decision notice in relation to this public authority from several years ago having mentioned such an issue. I think the public authority has taken a pragmatic approach of just mentioning the relevant section and not going into the detail required by the Freedom of Information Act so as to save time dealing with requests. The responses would be far more long-winded and probably more difficult for most people to understand if they were more detailed. However this doesn't technically comply fully with all the strict requirements. Of course, it's irrelevant as the requesters mark their requests as successful and don't pursue a complaint to the Commissioner for the technical breaches of the legislation.
[For anyone interested further - it's clear and obvious:
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/36/section/17
Section 17(7) is the requirement to state interview review and Commissioner details. (The Commissioner is "the right conferred by section 50".) The notice (the public authority's reply letter) would be a notice under subsections (1), (3) or (5) if it is relying on an exemption.
Section 17(1)(b) - "specifies the exemption".
The exemption is not specified when a section of the Act relied on contains more than one exemption. For example, a section is divided into subsections - each of which contain a separate exemption. It will therefore be necessary to mention the subsection relied on in order to make clear which of the exemptions in the section is being relied on!
This is all obvious and complete schoolboy (or schoolgirl:D) stuff. It's just so basic!
However, there is no right for Savvy to complain about the responses to other people's information requests:D:D.]0 -

Finally my awning is back in the two boxes it came in and put in the garage for the winter. Talk about a game of tetris.
Very annoying as had been folding it size of bag you store it in as the roof and sides had been cleaned not realising bag was about foot longer than the box so it all had to be refolded today. And we have had to take apart some of the poles that will be fun putting the puzzle together next year as we forgot to colour code them.
Mr TS questioned why couldn't leave it out of boxes but I had stuff stored on top of them like Teeny's quad bike that I wanted to put back to keep out of way. Think we are going to look at putting a shelf up that end of garage tomorrow to make life easier. :j

You are not a lurker petulia:o:)
Been to see Spectre tonight.....
First time in ages that we've been to the cinema. The following things have surprised me....
1. Had we not got in free it would have been £9.20 each:eek:
2. They were advertising monthly direct debits for limitless cinema visits £16.90
3. Lots of people eat lots of food in the cinema these days. The young girl next to me sat down with what looked like a Sunday lunch on a tray and munched from 5.00 to 6.40:eek: it was deafening:eek:
But I had a good time:)To do is to be. Rousseau
