we tried these from Aldi this weekend
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/aldi-price-comparison/Chocolate_Bags_Bars_And_Multipacks/Dairyfine_Romeo_Snack_Size_Bars_10x25g.html
79p for 250g bag - 10 bars so that's 25g each so just about squeezable into a calorie counting regime
they are a Bounty equivalent - sainsburys has a slightly Bounty larger fun size bag - £2.50 or £1.50 when its on offer
Mr !!!!!! own brand equivalent is £1.35 for one extra 25g bar“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
also check your emails from Travelodge - the latest one has a 25% off code for London rooms in December
- it says they start at £29 or £49 - not convinced about that but it might be worth checking if you are doing Christmas shopping etc
I booked a Premier Inn near Harry Potter World for £29 room for one night couple weeks before xmas. DD1 decided she wants to go for her 25th birthday.
Not sure what the closest to London or if any in London would be same price for xmas shopping but I only booked yesterday.0 -
The Sunday Telegraph had an offer today - 5 free music tracks from Givvit (download from HMVDigital).
I was going to type it in (free newspaper from W) but see that Gloria Steeth has put details on the Newspaper Front Pages thread so saved me a job typing it in:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=69443931&postcount=3
Basically download Givvit app, register (needs mobile number for verification code), when registered enter the code and then a few clicks later the free downloads code is in your inbox. 5000 but I have just done so that have not hit their limit yet.

Thanks for this - almost compensates for the downsizing from 16 to 13 pack. I saw something similar on the telly last night...a commercial from Morries, trying to convince me that 2 for £3 on these was good:rotfl:. Er, no - I wait for below £1 on these!:D:D
Adjusted to as if it was a 16 pack (assuming the individual bars have not been downsized too), 75p means just over 92p, making it very slightly more expensive than Avs 10% cheaper than whoever (usu. Sains, sometimes M) was £1 in the 'olden days'. So, it's a good deal and not too bad at straight what would have been 92p (considering that we wouldn't have had straight prices of 90p but only £1). A good deal. Unless we consider it in relation to T's 1p items:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

Any chance of the barcode TIA.
Hope all have recovered from last night - been foggy most of the day here. Went out for a late breakfast with DD, very misty with loads of cobwebs still glistening from the dew - quite !!!!!ish in fact.
Don't know why I have been !!!!!! the word used was G H O U L I S H.0 -
Are the 75p (=just over 92p in old money:D) Mars funsize still in stock though?
I notice, on hotdeals:
"These were 1.50 each so effectively half price ..."
That's not quite how I look at it:D;):rotfl:.
And:
"What's fun about a bag full of small bags of choc...
A big bag full big bags of choc.............now that's what we call fun size"
