Well, day 11, I've finally had a shower and am sat in the chair feeling more human than I have for a long time!

C diff is an infection I wouldn't wish on anyone, it's taken so much out of me, and the rivers of diarrhoea wouldn't have been out of place in an alien apocalypse!!

I've. Been in my own room with energy to breathe and not much else. Meanwhile the whole ward has had infection control up here swabbing and high intensity cleaning, so patients have had to be moved about so they could do this. Nanny, it will certainly be clean when you come for your op!

No one can come into my room without yellow apron and gloves, and I'm not allowed to leave. However antibiotics really seem to have worked and am hoping to be discharged on Monday.

I hope I haven't missed too much and everyone is ok! :)

Ladyshopper am pleased to hear you are on the up and keeping my fingers crossed that you get home tomorrow :Aand happy to hear all will be nice and clean when I arrive for my op on Thurs ..take care x

C*ck up from last night .....i got all sorted drinks sweets papers

papers as in old bills and lots of other paperwork to sift through whilst

listening to x factor .... All nicely settled down and the first song by Lauren

I then nip to the loo and come back the tv advert finishes and on comes

some drivel ...what it was i cant remember now but it wasnt x factor

so i decide its bedtime as i had previously checked tv listings and X factor finished at 10-25pmish So popped on here read up to last post and thought every one must be watching x factor because the last post was just after 8 o clock (ding ding )No warning bells for me

So tablets took and into bed ....not tired ..and lie listening to fire works

and thinking how inconsiderate people were being letting off fireworks

so late at night ...i get up to go to loo ...and i flick computer to play a film to drown out the noise of fireworks

    whilst i am in bed

i glance at lap top date and time and its only 8-30pm

So i think lap top must be wrong and i must not have changed the clock on it last week ...mental note to myself to correct it in morning

so off i trot back to bed

I get back up to go to the loo and i think i will put Doc Martin on laptop to watch so i log in to itv

Mmm thats quick the x factor repeat was on already to watch on itv

but i chose Doc Martin to watch

I get up again for another visit to the loo .....mental note to myself not to drink so much before bed time

So Doc Martin on lappy and me trying hard to go to sleep

then some really big fireworks were going off so i get up and look out of window and they were quite spectacular ..but really too late at night for all that noise so i glance back at lappy for the time and it says just past 10 pm mental note again to correct that in the morning ...

and just as i was going to bed i thought i should put the alarm on my phone or i will sleep in tomorrow as it doesnt look like i am going to get much sleep tonight with the noise from the fireworks

AH ...the penny has dropped my phone says its just 10 ish so how come x factor finished over an hour or 2 and that would was after 10 and probably midnight by now ......Give your head a shake woman ...go to put tv back on and its Sean the last singer of the night on x factor

So how i changed channels i dont know but i must have done it not noticing ...other than that a spooky ghost could have changed channels for me ....not
So i gave myself a good verbal talking to
cant remember what i said but the air was blue
So i saw the first and last act ....

I am my very own class act doh ............ ding ding

    Good Morning :)

What an horrible evening for my Poppy last night :(

I was nearly crying because it upsets me to see her in that state :(

When I turned tv off at bedtime I put Poppy's lead on and took her in garden she tried to pull me in but didn't and managed a wee :j:j:j

Came in she wouldn't have a drink so up to bed we go she wouldn't eat her rich tea biscuit so I ate it all we normally share it ;)

Poppy was still panting in bedroom , wouldn't get on bed :( fireworks went on til way past midnight grrrrrrrrrr .

I fell asleep when I woke for bathroom early hours she jumped on bed :j:j:j

This morning she asleep in her bed :)

I haven't fed her because I know mum will be feeding her carp and I don't want Poppy being _pale_

Tweets, we put the television on really really loud in the hope of masking the noise. It helps are dog a little x

Good morning tweets so sorry to hear that your girl Poppy was so stressed out last night :eek:I so understand how you feel as my Labrador we had when the children were small was exactly the same and it was heartbreaking to see him shaking and panting and trying to hide in the smallest of spaces:( and these days there seems to be any excuse to have Fireworks:(:(

These Amazon links are a pain.....just check out the Cusquena beer 330ml pack of 12 for £1.59....

Unsure if this is worthwhile after delivery costs?

Suppose it depends how many you order
