We had loads 30 plus, we stopped answering the door after 7:30 there was just a constant flow of kids.

I suspect the mulled wine we gave out to the parents might have influenced the amount of foot traffic we had.

    Good morning!

    Oooh Underperky I'm intrigued.

Mrsmac mind those nails when you're doing the housework.

Tweets I hope Poppy is happier this morning.

We had a BBQ last night and Bobby sat out with us and never batted an eye lid when the fireworks went off. Our last dog was like that the first few years and then seemed to develop a fear of them as the years went on. Then in her later years she couldn't hear them anyway.

Well I am off to bed now. Berry is asleep on his bed in the lounge and when I get up to go to bed, I open the back door, little Millie goes out for a wee, Berry comes and lies on his pad bed in doorway of bedroom, Noela stays on her bed in the lounge. I close the back door and get into bed, along with Millie who sleeps on or in the bed. Within 2 minutes Berry gets up and gives a bark to tell me he wants out for a wee, so I have to get up and open back door again. He goes out, has a wee, comes back in and lies back down to sleep. If I sit on side of bed instead of getting into the bed, Berry just stays on his pad bed, it is only when I get into bed that he decides he want out for a wee. I have tried allsorts, but he will not go into the garden for that wee until I am under the covers in bed

Of course, with him in discomfort at the moment with the flare up of his pancreatitis, we still go through this routine, but after he has been out and lies back on his pad bed and I am back in bed, he gets stressed and barks, comes over to the bed to me, cries, and this can go on for hours if I do not get up and bring him into the lounge and sit with him, cuddling him or brushing him until he settles and then the 'routine' starts again

That was the long way of explaining that I haven't had any sleep for three nights, though I slept this morning and on Friday for a few hours during the day. So I am off now to bed, to do the routine of him wanting in garden and then, I am hoping that the three doses of antibiotics and nightly dose of Loxicom, is easing his tummy and we have a settled night. If not, I will be back on here soon ;)

    You are an :A 3Dogs.

All dogs have their own routines and us humans follow them or whoa be it ;).

    Good Morning :)

What an horrible evening for my Poppy last night :(

I was nearly crying because it upsets me to see her in that state :(

When I turned tv off at bedtime I put Poppy's lead on and took her in garden she tried to pull me in but didn't and managed a wee :j:j:j

Came in she wouldn't have a drink so up to bed we go she wouldn't eat her rich tea biscuit so I ate it all we normally share it ;)

Poppy was still panting in bedroom , wouldn't get on bed :( fireworks went on til way past midnight grrrrrrrrrr .

I fell asleep when I woke for bathroom early hours she jumped on bed :j:j:j

This morning she asleep in her bed :)

I haven't fed her because I know mum will be feeding her carp and I don't want Poppy being _pale_
