These Amazon links are a pain.....just check out the Cusquena beer 330ml pack of 12 for £1.59....

Unsure if this is worthwhile after delivery costs?

Suppose it depends how many you order

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cusquena-Beer-330-Pack-12/dp/B004EAL5R4

I know it says 12 but do you think you will actually get 12? It might be an error in the description and, as you say, the postage is high anyway. A huge risk imho.

We had loads 30 plus, we stopped answering the door after 7:30 there was just a constant flow of kids.

I suspect the mulled wine we gave out to the parents might have influenced the amount of foot traffic we had.

I reckon we must have nearly hit 100 here. It was the busiest ever. Definitely wasn't just the kids from our road reckon the road must have built up a reputation for being generous.

Must be better prepared next year.

I don't think it is a risk, it says shipping weight is 8kg and volume 3960 ml, original price in commensurate with that quantity too.

That said, no idea what the beer is like as I don't do beer.

I ordered the mini bottles of fizz. I had been trying to think of a present to take in for the nurses on the chemo ward. I have seen people take boxes of hero's etc but they put them out for the patients so I wanted something a bit more personal they could have for themselves
Later on last night I wondered why I hadn't ordered any for myself so went on to place another order. The ones I had ordered had disappeared but I found these @£5.99 but you have to pay delivery so I ordered two packs to justify it so in total I think it was £16.21:beer:
Thank you Tinyshoes more alcohol added to my collection!

Sorry had to remove the link it takes you to my account!

I'm hoping the ones we ordered yesterday really is 10 bottles. After looking at prices of other stuff they sell. Had it happen with coffee before only sent one pack when meant to have been 6 which made price extortionate but had the price refunded so free.

What's the name of one you ordered today please. :D

I've got 4 RTC Xmas cake mixes last winter.

As we used 2 together last year to make a big cake. The other 2 Mr TS asked me to get for a friend but he is not sure they will take them now OOD.

    Morning all!

I'd keep them for yourself, they'll be fine.
I cooked 3 nearly 3 years ago. they were just OOD. The one we tried a few months later was lovely. I still have the other 2, in baking parchment, covered in foil, in tins. I feed them Brandy every few months. They smell lovely. I think they can keep virtually indefinitely if you keep feeding them?
I'm thinking of cutting them in halves as we don't eat much cake. Feeding them all well & maybe putting the 3 halves into vacuum bags - as we have the proper system OR should we just keep in parchment foil?

Ive a feeling mine will be going up this time next week . My daughter who lives in Ozland is coming over for a months visit :j:T:j . She has said she wants to put the decorations up as soon as she is here to make the most of it. We will be having a early Christmas meal as well, probably just before she goes back beginning of December.:eek:

I might not have explained myself well I had 2 last year I used so bought 4 this year so if I use 2 again will still have 2 left. :o

So my best bet is to cook all four this year and feed one until next year thanks for the tip WIRS. :)

If you register via a.com you only need a postcode email address and password. I have done plenty more than 10 receipts although not busted £100 and have no issues.
