So it costs 1p divided by the number of items you bought:rotfl::D.

    I did mine - £3.53 and paid with £3.53:D:D:D:D:rotfl:.

    I worked out:
    6 pint milk - £1.30
SP Minced Beef Onion Pies (3 'fresh') - £1.10 (overpaid, should have got four pack frozen for 10p less:rotfl:)
Own brand Original Crispbread - 79p (too much, would have been better to put Ryvita in twos vs T, then 10% would be cheaper than own brand price per pack:rotfl:)
    Left 34p.

So, two bottles of water and it's £3.53! All done.

All overpaid:( as not bothering with 10% or eight items that would see me spending an extra amount that would probably be more than the 10% on the four comparable items (Milk, SP pies and 2x Water). But, total amount of real money = zero. Plus £5+ back in new wombles (but no guarantee that that would have been the case).

    But I had a banana,......it could have been 10p, 11p or 12p:rotfl:

Thanks Everyone for the advice on how to back up my emails. Have googled and found a pictorial step by step guide specifically for my versions of Windows Live mail and Windows 7. So when I've got some uninterrupted time I'll have a go :) I don't know where I got the idea from that you couldn't back emails up.

Was just reading in the Halloween edition of Asda mag two different views about the clocks changing. Must admit I quite like the dark, cosy evenings. And I like that it signals the start of winter and the run up to Xmas. Then in Spring you get the welcome sign that spring is just around the corner.

I got two Schwartz shops this evening, all good (used A as my list). Are BM vouchers supposed to be able to be used immediately? It includes an expiry but not a start date that I could see? Till threw a wobbly anyway saying something about exceeding spend or something :(. All sorted manually but as my first BM (I had a voucher before then didn't notice that I only had two weeks to spend it :o).

    Many thanks

Must remember to go back and spend my voucher ... Must remember to go back and spend my second voucher :).

You can use them immediately, but some tills have a limit on how much can be spent and require SA approval

    Bingo

    Indeed.

Thing is I went to SS this time, in order to try to do it quickly. SA then scanned the voucher, which I'd already done:( - and numerous faffing around trying to void the duplicate scan:mad::rotfl::rotfl:. They can't be helped (sigh)!

I know - I thought about the bananas route, could have had the custard (or water) and then a couple of bananas to try to get the amount but would probably have overshot. I could have done that though. I think this is an Elite method of shopping lol:rotfl: - bananas are my favourite item too for trying to reach an odd amount:cool:.:rotfl::rotfl: Great minds...

You seem to have the same problem as me, trying to get the right priced banana:mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. (Eventually I give in - and just pay the 1p extra!:o:rotfl:)

Actually there's less embarrassment to paying an extra 1p, saves all their struggling around (if on a staffed till) trying to work out how to cash off the APG. It's "PRESS CASH BUTTON you fools":rotfl:!:p

They're beggars those bananas are - trying to get the right size. So, I'll take it it was a bananas 'disaster' again:D and just a full penny for the banana and everything else was free.

Hi TM that would be lovely, I am heavy in heart knowing I won't see sun proper daylight again until the clocks go forward.

As anyone got any cheap tissues I can borrow whilst I sob silently.:)

I'm with you on that one. Pretty soon the only daylight I'll see during the week is when I go for a cigarette break. I won't see my chickens at all during the week cos they'll still be in bed when I go on my way to work and they'll have gone to bed when I go round on my way home from work :(
