In fact, I don't know about you, but I don't ever add salt onto anything at all these days. We've enough salt in our diets (probably too much!) from what's already in food that I don't see any need to add more. The only time I ever use it is for dental emergencies or having to solve dental problems like that:(. So that's all I would ever need to buy any salt for - I've got through far too much that way over the year:(:rotfl:.0

You are right Savvy...people add it at the table. I remember my mother adding it to vegetables as they boiled and stews etc but I wouldn't dream of it.To do is to be. Rousseau

I use it for slugs
Also keep a stash of it to put on my driveway once I've cleared the snow in the winter :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I added it up 3 times in my head before I got to the till:rotfl:
So it costs 1p divided by the number of items you bought:rotfl::D.
I did mine - £3.53 and paid with £3.53:D:D:D:D:rotfl:.
I worked out:
6 pint milk - £1.30
SP Minced Beef Onion Pies (3 'fresh') - £1.10 (overpaid, should have got four pack frozen for 10p less:rotfl:)
Own brand Original Crispbread - 79p (too much, would have been better to put Ryvita in twos vs T, then 10% should come back and be cheaper than own brand price per pack:rotfl:)
Left 34p.
So, SP Custard tin and a bottle of water and it's £3.53! All done.
All overpaid:( as not bothering with 10% or eight items that would see me spending an extra amount that would probably be more than the 10% on the four comparable items (Milk, SP pies, custard and water). But, total amount of real money = zero. Plus £5+ back in new wombles (but no guarantee that that would have been the case).
EDIT: Actually, what I am talking about? The milk is more expensive at T, so wouldn't have been 10% like that. Would have been 1p more on the water at M, the custard is same size at M so would be 17p M rather than slightly cheaper for T, and SP pies equivalent in M is £1.17 not T's £1.10 but would probably return N/A for M. Own brand Crispbread N/A for both - M out of weight range (and if it glitched outside of it and compared would probably not amount to much).0
