    Guess what?

My elder Sister demanded my Dad to ring 999 :D

    :eek::eek: and he did :T:T:T

Fabulous response and quality care - they think he has had a stroke :)

He is on Stroke Ward in hospital under going multiple tests :)

Mum driving up to see him now & will report back this evening.

In a good way it is fortunate it has happened now & not on the road to Sherwood Forest :)

Thats good news that he is getting treatment quickly
    ((hugs))

I got a mix of 10 schwartz spice jars for £16.50 in S today

Gave me my expected £6.50 BM and £7.50 CB with COS/CS so cost just £2.50 (and generated a £2 off £20 that i'll use next time around) :money:

I wombled what looked like a BM voucher but it's not. It says it's for exclusive use with a particular nectar card and rather than "your shopping would have been cheaper" it says "congratulations, you've done it"

Done what?!?!?! Anyone seen or earned one of these before? Do you think it's a "shop X times and get £Y off your next shop"?

about 4 weeks ago I got a mailing from Sains saying that if I spent £80 over the following 2 weeks I would get a voucher for £16 off my next shop. Seemed a tall order, but as I shop with DD it only meant we had to spend £20 each for 2 weeks, and hey ho the voucher appeared from the till, along with the congratulations you've done it slip.
We got this offer twice. It was nectar card specific, and there was no conditional spend, plus I could also use a £4 off your next £20 shop that belonged to another nectar card.
Its like doing A levels trying to remember everything, but a good discount as we shop there anyway (and anywhere else if they send us vouchers!)

Morning all - hope the ELITE are all well :-)

Don't forget that Easyjet summer flights (July-September) go on sale today so best chance to secure a cheap flight. I've been checking through the morning for flights from Manchester but not yet live (banner says the flights will be released mid-morning).

I had been awake half the night thinking about these flights, up showered and checking at 6 am nothing. Saying they were available mid morning-Checked again at 7.15 so they must have just gone live, and managed to book:) Just got home from work and checked again just now - the same total price for flights are over £300 more expensive:eek:

I think at the time I remember lots linking into delivery saver but I think it may have glossed over me because I really am not a fan of online ordering of your groceries and probably didnt realise that mystery wine shopping particularly fell into that catagory.

Wasn't that also the time when you could choose the beauty gift...?

    I don't remember anything about a gift.

It only worked for those of us lucky to have been sent a code for half price delivery saver.

Can you believe I glossed over the original DTD price promise thread for a few weeks. :o Kept wondering why it was top of grabbit. :rotfl:

:(:(:( Skip past as unhappy post

:(:( My Father has lost the use of his legs last night :(:(

Awaiting Dr who is calling after 12pm.

Why they couldn't tell Drs it was an emergency I don't understand but they know best.

The first time it happened was in 2001 & he learned to walk but very unsteady & slow.

This year was the year of him getting his own car that he can drive with hand controls & he has been literally whizzing around the country with his new found freedom.

Tomorrow my Parents were going to Center Parc Sherwood Forest for a friend's birthday weekend.

So sorry to read about your Dad Snap, hope he is now getting the care he needs, and will soon be doing better.
Seems odd that they are suspecting a stroke, as that would normally be one side as opposed to one half of his body if you know what I mean.
    Big Hugs. xx

    That'll be it then! Thanks

Now to see if it scans without the relevant nectar card..
