You didn't actually suggest it, it was something you said about delivery saver working on an account that had cancelled so I realised I could do it all again on DH account and I did:jj
    They are coming today:eek:

That was me that said it ;):rotfl:

Bhs have a lot of stuff at 20% off and some hampers 50% off plus there is another code you can use for a further 20% off so some good bits to be had :)

Apparently it's due to technical issues that plane from Glasgow didn't fly back to Bournemouth so no plane for them to fly on there.

They were due to fly around 9.15 think it's about 1.5 hour trip so arrival should have been 10.45ish. The are now booked on lunchtime flight to Edinburgh earlier than the offered 5ish to Glasgow as the lunchtime Glasgow was already full. But been told they will have to pay train ticket from Edinburgh to Glasgow. Arrival Edinburgh will be about 3 hours late with another hour train trip on top of that. :sigh:

When purchasing a ticket the airline undertakes to get you to your destination by any means, via any route. It doesn't have to be by air, nor by stated route on the ticket. It all forms part of the Warsaw Convention.
However, the airline still has a duty to get you to your destination within agreed time parameters which the EU have ruled upon (3hours).

They have been offered an alternative to Glasgow, albeit at 5ish, therefore Flybe have fulfilled their duty. A compensation claim for the delay should be payable though according to EU rulings.

If that flight has been refused by the pax and they accepted an alternative to Edinburgh at an earlier time through their own choice then the airline would have fulfilled their obligation (if within 3 hours). It could be argued by Flybe that in accepting the alternative to EDI the passengers agreed to get to GLA by their own means and waived their right. However, it would be also be fair to assume by the pax that Flybe should pay for the pay additional travel costs, though they may not necessarily win that one.

You will have to get a big wine rack like me. ;)

I just looked for link for the one I have but doesn't look like Amazon sell it anymore. It's at least 84 bottles, I know it's rows of 7 but can't remember exactly how many high it is. :o

Oh and it has a shelf on top for the fat champagne/Prosecco sized bottles that won't fit in the rack.

Must admit I don't put anything of value up there as I'm worried it might all tumble, the champagnes are still in boxes. :o

Thanks WMCB, you have lost me a bit on the last one. Do you mean by accepting the earlier flight to Edinburgh they will have lost any rights to compensation? This flight is leaving 3 hours after original flight time. They are being transported to S'ton FOC.
