Hi all!
Sorry I've been without internet for a week now! Well I have it on my phone but struggle to read/write when the text is so little! Is it bad/sad that I would do MSE things and be gutted I couldn't "brag" about it on here?!?!
Hope you're all well!
Today I have/will:-
* Do washing up
* No TV on before work
* No heating on (of the 4 radiators downstairs 3 are off the wall where we're decorating anyway!)
* Take lunch to work
* Check banks
* Borrow book from boss
* Earn more on OnePoll
* Check FPL
* Pop into Mr A for prescription and a few essentials
* Dinner from stores
* Hoover living room
* Speak to mum about washing machines as they are buying me one as an early xmas present as ours sounds like a helicopter taking off (my neighbour has complained about me doing washing early in the morning!) so not sure how long it will last! Plus we worked out its about 12 years old!
Think that's everything I can think off for now!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £5,100
Total paid off - £10,500.89 (67% paid off)0 -

CCL - I'm always glad of the thread being up. Although I haven't had time to read it the last few mornings. But I do get on as soon as I can. Hope your day was ok?
Ziggy - interesting about your son thanks for sharing that. They are all so different and as long as their healthy it doesn't matter does it.
Ally- how annoying about the builders. Hope you will manage your work ok on only 3 hours sleep.
Foxgloves - your garden always sounds so rewarding. I admire all the gardeners on this thread
Dawn - I hope the christening was a great success.
Determined - hope you had a nice day with DGD.
Twiggy - was wondering where you'd slipped off too.
LegoMum - Yum chicken curry
hope DH had a good birthday.
Wanttobe- hope you got DS out for a walk.
Wishus - how lovely to be given apples.
Moonbeam - well done on your list.
Well Foxgloves I will be using your 'do over' for the week strategy as today hasn't been great. But tommorow will be!
Not much to report. Used up some veggies from yesterday in today's dinner. Got 3 reciepts added on at Mr T.
Checked our banking. Tenant normally pays the rent by the 25th so that may mean it's in by Friday which would be handy this month!
Recieved another parcel with 2 new baby gros in, this time for 3 to 6 months. Will write a thank you note later.
Walked all journies.
Kept on top of house work.
Opened and filed mail.
Made son's lunchbox for tommorows half term activities.
That's it for today.
Back for more DFW fun tommorow

I am buzzing!! I had a letter today from British Gas telling me what my yearly consumption for gas was and they told me I'd be about £340/year better off by switching suppliers. I rang them for clarification and was advised that I have no exit fee if I chose to switch (I've only just gone on to one of their new tariff's so I think they've c***ed up there), and my outstanding debit amounts with them (which isn't a lot in comparison to how much we've owed them in the past) can either be paid in full or a DD set up to pay off what we owe.
Anyhow, I went on to U-Switch and am now buzzing with excitement at finding a new supplier, which will save me £474/year!!....£40/month! That's ridiculous!! I am annoyed that I haven't done this sooner but elated that I've now taken the plunge to switch suppliers at long last!
Anyone toying with the idea of switching, do not hesitate, it's soooo easy!
So on top of my £33/month that I managed to save the other day, I have now added another £40/month to that figure!
My DFW days are drawing nearer!!Debt as of Sept' 2015 (LBM!): £36,351 :eek: (sickening)
Monthly outgoings on debt alone: £1243/month

Interesting idea Foxgloves about Tuesday being a 'do-over'. Most Monday's I find really hard but today felt a bit easier. I even got out for some exercise.

Evening all

I will be going for a 'do over' day as well. Today hasn't been awful - just a bit middle of the road. Only 4 more get ups!
Didn't get my NSD today. I had to go to Mr M for some red cabbage for work - bagged 2 for 9p each, but then I went mad for other yellow stickers. I got a loaf of olive ciabatta for 9p, a massive pot of hummus for 9p, a block of Wensleydale cheese for 39p and a choc chip brioche loaf for 9p. I felt pretty fantastic getting that amount of shopping for 84p.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »
