I think that one checks out...
100% / 0.000007151% = 13,984,058.1737 which is about right for 6 numbers in the old system.
The 6 number one for the new system is fine too..
Things get a bit dodgy with their maths for the 3 number and 2 number odds....
Agreed ! I may have got my factorials wrong with 6!, 5!, 59! and 49!.
Never mind that is life lol !0 -
I don,t want 50 million , just a humble £10,000 would be nice , however my chances of winning this have dropped
must go , need to mug a granny0 -
So how do the 'odds' compare with Euromillions?
If I wait for the first rollover of Euros, how many rollovers of Lotto will it take for the long odds to be worth a try?I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Looking online throws up some strange comparisons, one I was surprised at was you have more chance of dying on your way to buy the ticket than winning it....0

When was it ever worth playing the lotto?0

With a return of under 50%, lotto is a terrible way to gamble.
Even online slots return 90-95% and some offer jackpots in the millions!0 -
All lotto odds are 50-50 - you will either win, or you won't0
