I think I'll have a go at upgrading, i've done it in the past with memory but how do I find a compatable graphics card? Then I might get a nice shiny new one in a couple of years.
The HP PC in conjunction with Radeon R5450-MD1GD3H/LP £23.06 is the best value for money overall.0 -

..then just add the OS..........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Do I just take the old one out, put the new one in and it's done, like the memory?NiftyDigits wrote: »is the best value for money overall.0 -

The old graphics card to replace it with the new one.
There is no existing Graphics card. It's slots into the appropriate place on the Motherboard.
But you don't need to buy it until you receive the machine and get it up and running. Once sure that you'll keep it, you can buy the graphics card.
I certainly prefer the CPU in the DELL. But the HP has 4GB of RAM as opposed to 2GB in the DELL and has a bigger HDD.
You can decide which is more important to you.0 -
I think the OP has decided to upgrade their existing PC so there are a few crossed lines in the posts above.0
