And my meter is in a standard meter cupboard by the front door, so unless he forgets his key, the reader can get access.
Eon do need to sort out this particular anomaly.
Sorry about this poppasmurf. If you ever receive an estimated bill please let us have your readings and we'll rebill it for you. Also, as I mentioned to NittyGritty earlier, you can raise your own bills through the 'Real Time Billing' tool on our website. Just pop in the readings and you'll have the option of seeing what balance would result or actually requesting a bill. Good way of keeping track of things.
Sorry again about the no shows poppasmurf but hope this is of interest. Also hope some of my other comments on this thread help.

No problem here with getting my meter read, get an email and within 10 days the meters have both been read!

Malc; I'm a bit confused re your reply to my contribution. I've been billed in Feb,May and August. Before each bill was due I received the meter reader email, but for my own purposes I read the meters and input figures.
Are you saying that the meter reader has been but the "system" doesn't record the readings, or that my entries have actually cancelled the meter reader visit ???0 -
Hi brewerdave
No, not saying a meter reader's definitely called. That was just a bit of speculation on my part. Sorry to cause confusion. Also, your readings won't cancel a visit.
You say each of the emails told you a meter reader would call? This is a bit odd as we only usually attempt to read meters twice a year. It may be down to you joining last December and how you fit in to the reading cycle. Guessing again, though, so will be interesting to see what happens over the next 12 months.
Sorry again to speculate so much brewerdave.

Hi Malc -thanks for the reply -My " annual review" bill is due in ~ 3 weeks time -so I'll await an email with interest -particularly as I'm just switching from one external EON tariff to another, EHL to USwitch:)0
