Android phone slow

In the Kindle app, there is a clickable button to 'Use system brightness' in the colour/font/brightness settings when you're in a book (click on the Aa icon at the top of the page). Make sure this is set.
Thanks. When I click on this it shows the level of brightness and there's an option to check a box for 'auto brightness.' That's all. Should I check the box? Ok I think the answer is no because I tried it and it got brighter. But it's still too bright, so I think the Twilight app isn't working with Kindle or Internet. It was before.
Thanks for reading.0 -

Should be simple right? Not a lot is today, it's a Samsung Galaxy. I can't be more specific atm because it's a hand me down, so unless it says somewhere on the phone (which is so slow) then I don't know.
I will post on the mobile board. Didn't realise, thought Techie was relevant, but the devil is in the detail (more nowadays than ever it seems)0 -
I bought some extra memory for the phone. Couldn't have been enough if it can't handle a few photographs, maybe 3 files downloaded (3 pages approx. each) and internet usage. All texts are deleted regularly.
On my phone there are two in-built storage devices. Programs get installed by default on the smallest of the two (which is around 2GB on my phone). It sounds like you've run out of space on that device, which is causing the phone to be slow.
You should be able to go in to settings / applications, and manually move programs over to the larger device (or to your external memory-card). You should also be able to move over any photos/videos, etc.
It's a bit bloated, but I use the Clean Master app, which lets you find and delete junk files, shows how much storage space you have on your devices, and which apps are taking up the space. Might be worth a look:

Re any videos or photos on the phone can you not upload them to google drive to free up any space on the phone.0

I had a Samsung with dodgy memory chips - the result was that this caused it to slow down over time0
