Paying off a flight purchase

in Credit cards
Hi, just wondered how people deal with this?
I've recently purchased a return trip to Asia on my credit card leaving in Nov, returning in Dec.
I was thinking I'll pay it off when I return when I know there's been no problem with the flight/transfers.
Obviously though I'll have a couple of months interest to pay for the balance.
Any suggestions to avoid the endless charges? Cheers.

Why not pay it off now? You have the same protection whether you pay the debt off immediately or in the future.0

The airline has already been paid: the only issue is when you pay the card company the money that you owe them.0

It seems like you misunderstand S75 protection, as this poster did

The charges are easily avoided by paying the full balance before the statement date - do it by DD and you'll never pay a penny in interest (as long as you don't do any cash withdrawals of course).0 -

What advantage do you believe this will offer you?0
