So some changes to my budget:
In May I have budgeted for £2074.16 but only budgeted income of £1620 so I'll have £443.73 to find. The income includes my wages at basic at bottom of the pay scale so doesn't include the fact that I am now on the top of the pay scale or any unsocial (I've actually done some this month), it also includes my partners share of bills.
May's budget does include a short holiday though so from June onwards I've budgeted for £1684.26 so only £64.26 to find.
While gym membership will be budgeted on YNAB, I'll be using money from extra shifts for this so £80.50 for gym then anything else for spends which won't be on the budget. I'd like to make £200 though extra shifts.
With the pay rise and unsocial I should have a good £200+ extra income so on payday I shall enter the correct figure and work from that. Anything not budgeted for from main wage and extra shifts will be either savings or thrown on the debts.
The reason I haven't used my savings to pay them of is that I need a buffer/emergency fund. This has helped this month with dentist costs.
My gym membership isn't very MSE but I get to use a great gym with loads of classes plus I can get back to swimming & tennis which I did years a go. I tennis club member would be more costly. This is why I am working one extra shift a month to pay for it.Student nurse 2018 to 2020

So that last post probably didn't make much sense but here goes gain.
YNAB on budget accounts
1) Natwest - bills account, wages go into
2) TSB - extra none bank shifts.
I will have both of theses as 'income' each month. I will budget for everything apart from spends, any money not accounted for will go into the 'misc' category and anything left at next payday will go towards debt or savings.
We cashed in our silver savings pot today and there was £79.10 in there. This is going to wards our May holiday.Student nurse 2018 to 2020
