Just pointing out...
Number of of court claims file by Smart Parking in 2014-15 = 0
Number of of court claims file by Smart Parking in 2015 = 0
Even the UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH POLE DANCE SOCIETY has filed more parking claims than Smart Parking (1-5)
They could of course change tactics at any time, but it does appear that right now smart parking dont do court.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
So not had or heard anything since my last reply on here (I took the recommendation of ignoring them) but end of last week, I'd received the Zenith "solicitor" letter saying I must pay the £120 before being taken to court.
Naturally, I just binned it.0 -

Are sure it said "solicitor" Zenith are just Debt Recovery Plus idiots using different headed paper!
Clearly shown on every page of their website, with no mention of being solicitors:;)

The letter from zenith probably mentions the word solicitor. That was my interpretation.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

You shouldn't 'bin' any document served on you in which there is a potential claim against you. The PPC has six years to pursue this to court.
Just have an A4 folder into which you slide every document you receive (including the envelope) about this charge, then close the drawer behind it until the next bit of correspondence arrives. I'd also write on the folder 'DESTROY ON xx/xx/20xx' - the date six years on from the date of the parking incident! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Received another letter from Zenith Collections today.
Why do they waste so much paper sending these useless letters out??0 -
Just as you need do nothing with debt collector letters (than file them), similarly we don't need to hear about every one you receive.
