Beautiful day but definitely colder. I have caved and put the heating on for an hour tonight, just to warm the house up a bit.

Spoke to my niece today and she said her Mum (ex SIL but still a friend) has been given a few months and is only being offered palliative care now, she is only 51 we are all really upset, even my brother, give him his due even though he has another partner he has been going round doing little jobs for her and has been a real support.

Dinner tonight is chicken stew with runners from the garden and roasties also from the garden.

Evening everyone.

Another lovely day but it was much colder I thought. Went for interview for part time self employed role, all went well just waiting for references & dbs check. Was told that I can choose when and how many hours I want to work. It will be nice to get some structure back into my week and also earn some money.

Met friend for coffee, had a delicious caramel macchiato and toasted tea cake. Got bulb replaced on headlight of car. Picked up some shoes I had ordered then home.

Have managed to finish one of the Christmas stockings I am doing for the dgc. Also managed a few more granny squares.
