Why such a big price difference existing customer v new customer?

Currently with standard unlimited BT Broadband and looking to upgrade to Unlimited BT Infinity 38mb


Why is it that when I sign in and look at the price as an existing customer it is £23 a month - http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/upgrade-your-broadband/




When I don't sign in and look it is £12.50 a month - http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/broadband-packages/


Will they do it at the lower price for existing customers if you phone them up?

Hi, its because the broadband/tv/home phone companies are more interested in attracting new customers than looking after existing customers, many existing customers dont check to make sure they're getting value for money and these are the customers the companies love

Take a look at this start up called Retain My Custom, probably worth following they're fb page to keep an eye out to see
how they get on...they are the only ppl trying to address the prob!

I suggest you phone BT up, before you do see what the others are offering and tell them your considering cancelling
and going with someone else, they'll certainly want to keep your business and offer you a better deal..

Very true...the way the companies behave ppl shouldnt show any loyalty...the only problem is showing no loyalty means effort and being on it
