Amazon Fire Stick from Tesco - free Prime trial?

I'm planning to buy an Amazon Fire Stick soon. If I get it from Amazon direct, they're offering a 30 day trial of Prime Video, which I'd like to get to see if it's worth me switching from Netflix. I can buy the firestick from Tesco and get the clubcard points, which is appealing as I'm saving my points for something. But would I still be able to get the Prime trial?

Amazon offer a 30 day free trial anyway.

Get the stick and points from Tesco and then apply for the free trial.

I don't think I'm eligible for the free trial again, I've had it twice for the free delivery and now it's not offering it to me any more.

I think I might be eligible for the Amazon Student offer though, as I have a working ac.uk address, so I'll try that, that's a better deal!

I like many ( I suspect) am waiting till the new topgear is all available to use the free trial of Amazon prime. I don't think there's much content otherwise that warrants £79 a year. YouTube is free and has a lot more stuff.

Top Gear would be the last thing I watch, that's definitely not a dealbreaker for me haha! The student offer seems good so I'll try that, I'm interested in trying Amazon Music within it as well, be interesting to see if I can replace my occasionally-used Spotify with it.

What?! The content is awesome! I am lying here now just using the prime music service listening to David gilmours new release for no extra charge, plus free next day delivery on a Sunday. I rarely watch BBC anymore. Prime is the future, get on board!
