    Afternoon all,

Welcome Doris & Lainey, you will like it here.

Pleasant day here, bit overcast with sun breaking through now and then, clothes on line dried very quickly!

You are doing well with dogs Lyn...just shows what a positive attitude can do. Agree with you about the marmalade, much easier than making from scratch and just as tasty, must make some myself soon.

JuhackieO......must be a common thing for councils to try toclose libraries, my knitting group meets in a library where opening hours have been drastically cut I the last couple of years.

Have made no preparation for 25th December, would usually have cake and pudding made by now, cant seem to work up any enthusiasm for the holiday this year, normally love it, not sure whats going on in my subconscious, hope it passes soon as I am fed up with myself.

    Have a good evening everybody!

  • Good evening everyone,

welcome to Doris and Lainey. Hugs to everyone.

A bit of a chilly start this morning but it has been quite nice and sunny this afternoon.

Took DD to school and then went to work. I don't feel like I've had a break as everyone seems to have worked this weekend so have got up early and not caught up on my sleep.

DD went to work at the hotel yesterday lunchtime and they have offered her a part time job, I think she will just be working weekends as a waitress in the restaurant. She is happy as she will be able to earn some money for herself without having to ask us all the time.

DD and I went to the gym this afternoon, we haven't been for about 2 weeks, so I am feeling rather tired this evening. DD wants to get fit as she says she has to run upstairs from the kitchen to the dining room so a good incentive for us.

I couldn't decide what to make for dinner tonight, so in the end I made sweet potato and butter bean stew which I love and is quick and easy to make.

I'm just chilling but must go and do the washing up in a moment.

The rugby has messed up the TV again this evening as there's no Corrie, or Doc Martin:rotfl:

Have a good evening everyone. x

    Late posting from me again.

Been quite busy today rang about a job, emailed CV, interview tomorrow. Sorted place cards for meal Saturday. Washing done, hung out was almost dry when I brought it in. Scribed for ds2 with his homework for an hour. Made dinner of SW chicken risotto - oven baked added chilli flakes, it was lovely. Was a bit naughty as added some grated cheese.

Tonight just relaxed watching last episode of Dr Foster. Whilst crocheting more granny squares.

Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.

Also welcome Doris and Lainey. So a nice group of people on this thread.
