    Morning, off to watch 5y old GS play football, it's cold and windy so will have to dress up warm. Looking forward to the Wales v SA rugby this afternoon. Loyalties torn as I am Welsh but lived in SA for14 years and rest of family were born in SA. May the best team win:)
    Enjoy the weekend:)

    Quite a few people leaving :o That's sad but it might be a good time for me to jump ship too.

    I don't feel the thread is going anywhere like it used to be but I wish everyone well and good luck to you all.

    Glad she is ok

    Best friend has grandson who is intolerant or has allergies to lots of food items They have been told to allow him to keep eating all foods and administer piriton as required They have also supplied an epi pen just in case

    I am sure DD1 will have a huge list of stuff she wants for xmas so that will keep you busy

    I'm trying to convince her that she wants things I didn't give her last xmas/birthday. We looked at all the things we'd got her and said "no way is she getting all these!" so we put some aside until next time....and then we'd see something worth getting/putting aside forgetting just how much we've got on standby :o :rotfl:

    Some things will probably stay in the loft until they're suitable for DD2 :money:

    Are you moving north of David's wall ?

    We weren't, but sorely tempted now. The house in question is the show home on a new estate and the deal is that you buy it from the builder, then lease it back to them for a couple of years until the development is complete, then it's yours to do with as you wish. The timing would be great for our long term plans but it's not a concept I'm familiar with, so would need a lot of research. It probably won't happen but we will do our due diligence before making a final decision.

    Morning all.

    Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

    Morning all :wave:

    Still tucked up trying to get better...

    Couple of offers I've had notices about;

    For the gardeners T&M have a perennial lucky dip pack for the cost of P&P only - £4.95

    Also it would seem Ms are trying to match co-op in terms of their frozen meal deal - 1 main, 2 sides and a dessert for £5. A couple of options available :)

  • Good morning all, cloudy one here.

    Interesting skim through last night.

    just realised I have been on MSE for 10 years and am still skint

    :eek::eek:

    I have been on here that long, and I am not quite as skint as I was :) Helps to not rush out for every glitch. That said, I now have to do some serious shopping. My only really decent trousers are silk and crease dreadfully, my mission today is to get some comfy decent looking trousers that won't crease and some tops that also will not crease :eek: Why did we book a cruise :rotfl::rotfl:

    Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a fabulous Saturday.

    Happy shopping.
    Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
