My new little part time job has changed considerably, I am now the manageress of the cafe in a beautiful country park with the most fab people, and whats better it was actually the other staff who suggested it even though they have mostly been there longer so I know they are all happy. My boss is lovely and never there so I am changing menus and really enjoying it, It may sound dramatic but its totally changed my life, I had not worked for 15 years and was a bit of a recluse, and even though its hard getting into a new routine it is defiantly worth it,, This is all thanks to the elite as I would never had gone for it if cjj had not posted about trying to get a job and all the inspirational replies she got encouraged me.
Just wanted to let you all know how much good the elite are doing and not just with the money saving you are all :A:A:A:A:A:A

when we have had the buy a drink get a burger free offer we get the apple juice, you get a big tumbler for about £2.75 - I've had the chicken burger and its quite nice.
OK its not cheap but for cheap quick lunches by comparison if we went to Greggs we would have the lunch offer for £3 so this is at least a bit different experience.
Not been to mcD for a long time but it used to be not far short of a tenner so I refuse to go anywhere near there now. You can get the £1.99 offers on bus tickets sometimes but no drink with these offers.
and the retro 50s American diners are cute
We thought it was good value too. Went to the Southampton West Quays one on Tuesday, paying £2,55 for a drink is about average in this sort of lace. I had the veggie burger, quinoa and chickpea, and it was yummy. Great atmosphere and decor, and was singing along to the fantastic music :jrhosynbach wrote: »Amongst all the bickering etc I forgot something important to share the good news and not just the bad,:o:o
