When working it (PasswordBox) has a simple import action to move the passwords from Lastpass. PasswordBox Premium, despite the name is totally free....
This, from the FAQ, suggests it may not always be free too although what features are premium and what are standard I didn't delve intoHow much does PasswordBox cost?
To celebrate our acquisition by Intel Security, we’re giving all current and new users six months of free PasswordBox Premium with access to all of the features and additional storage space.
Of the alternates I've looked at so far none seem to measure up to LastPass. Let's hope the buyout doesn't screw it up.0 -

I imported those into Dashlane and tried importing the export from that which did manage to import some before sitting doing nothing as it had with the LastPass csv.

Whats wrong with everyone ?
Whats all this password safe b0llocks ?
Why don't you just create passwords that you can remember ?
Eg the first letter of each word of a very long phrase that only you know ?
(^^ would be Etfloewoavlptoyk)
Easy to remember and nearly impossible to crack0 -
I've got nearly 400 different passwords stored in my LastPass vault. I don't think I'm creative enough to come up with that number of long phrases that I could associate with the correct site.
Admittedly some old rarely used ones are duplicates and some I never use these days but having a password manager that autofills them and logs you in is very convenient.0 -

What's wrong with you using the same password everywhere?0 -
If you use the same password on multiple websites you are taking a huge risk. If one of those websites gets hacked and passwords leaked, fraudsters will try other popular websites with the same login details.

Again with the words in my mouth - Where did I say I used that same password for more than one site ?
I am a penetration tester by trade, trust me, I know all the tricks that fraudsters use.
Tip to reduce the 100+ passwords you have to remember :-
Have a low tier password for all the junk sites that you use that you don't really care about.
Use that same password for all the other junk sites that you visit that require you to have an account.
If one gets hacked, and your password discovered, it wont do you any harm.
Eg my password for this site is the same as my password for another forum that I use. Its my forum password.
I don't really care if it gets discovered0 -

Down to what? 99? 98?
I have many more than your 5 or so accounts where my money or my identity would be at risk. For that I need a password safe. And since I use it, why not using it for everything including forums etc.?0 -
Put passwords in Excel (2007+ Excel passwords are hard to break).
Then encrypt the driving using Truecrypt.
GCHQ/NSA will kick you physically until you reveal the password. They won't be attempt to break Truecrypt passwordHappiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
