Noticed that there was some mold in Tesco Value Tomato Ketchup.
There anyway I can complain about this and get some compensation?
I am feeling ill at the moment and have got toilet issues as a result.

How long ago was it bought?
How long has it been open?
How has it been stored?
What is the best before date?
didnt you notice it was off before using it? Ketchup turns really dark and has more of a tangy smell/taste when it starts to turn. Didn't you see the mood before eating it? How much could you have eaten to cause issues?0 -

You should see a solicitor, maybe look for one that deals with Ebola cases or similar, compensation for this type of situation can be seven figures.0

I didn't know they made ketchup in Mold.0

Take the ketchup back to Tesco, along with a stool sample. They can then culture both to ascertain that the ketchup was the cause of your "toilet issues".
If you take your stool sample to them in a Tesco bag don't forget to ask them to refund you it's cost (5p).0 -
I suggest you get plenty of toilet tissues to deal with your toilet issues.
I wouldn't take the sample in a Tesco bag though as they have safety holes.0 -

How much compensation would you accept? Would an Andrex 4 pack be enough? Or are you looking for a 9 pack?0

Contact Tesco, but they will need to know:
When you bought it?
How long it has been open?
Where the product has been stored?
What is the Best Before Date?
If it is a new bottle recently opened I would expect them to refund you and maybe offer you a gift card as a 'good will gesture' for inconvenience caused. You won't get compensation unless you can prove that product made you ill.0 -
