Started comping couple of months ago all I have won is Spam Spam and more Spam, is there a secret to avoid it? :cool: Takes ages to sift through & hope I havent deleted a winning message without opening it. Also sent for masses freebies, Original source, Marc James smelly and James Wellbeloved dog food, Nivea and L'Oreal, really good samples and fast, but wheres the other 50+. I' can't be a total loser cos I've got a well fed dog, I've got smooth skin & a summer tan & me and hubby smell nice for free.

Don't give up kittyclaire & the others who haven't won - keep plugging away .

I've been comping online for the last 5 years or so & have only won 3 small prizes not even worth mentioning. I'm fairly selective in the comps I enter though - the prizes on offer & spam possibility is very important to me.

Been comping very little in the last 5-6 months though, as I've lost interest. G

Hi cistolic, I haven't noticed any increase in my spam since I started comping early-mid July(ish), but I am really careful when I read the comp entry forms & make sure I either tick/untick/leave blank the spam boxes.

For everyone else, at the end of the August there are a lot of comps coming to an end, so a week or so into September I think a few more of you will climb up out of the 'dungeon' (great imagery suez_channel!) & walk along Winners Way to freedom

I've been comping since the turn of this year, not a nibble.

All changed yesterday though when I got a pair of tickets for the Connect festival next weekend from VH1/MTV (thanks Kipper !).

I was starting to think that the time I spent doing the comp's would be better spent elsewhere, but this has given me a new lease of enthusiasim.

When I see people with huge lists of prizes in their signatures, I really really really want to feel pleased for them: but nope, I don't, cos it bugs me to see how lucky they are.

Seriously, that's the only site I've ever been bombarded with spam from, funny how it settled down soon after I de registered! I don't get any other spam, apart from the odd *blue pills* one, or simillar.

Some people have a seperate email address that they use just for comping, so that their regular account doesn't get affected by any spam. I occasionally use my 'comp only' email account, but I tend to not check it much, so the majority of my comps are still entered under my normal account, & it's fine. Good luck with your comping, & happy freebie hunting too :T
