Virgin Broadband Helpline tip

I have just had a bad experience with Virgin Media Broadband (surprise) but one good thing came out of it which might be of help to others. If you phone the help line (25p per min.) between 8pm and 8am, you will be connected to the off-shore call centre, which can be expensive in terms of time spent trying to understand the accents of the operaters. I spent over 20 minutes talking to one adviser last night only to discover that we were talking about different problems. He then said he had to go, and would call me in 30 minutes, which of course he didn't do.
However, when I rang again this morning at 8.30, to my surprise I was connected to the UK call centre. My problem was resolved in minutes. The chap told me that after eight o'clock at night, the calls are put through to the off-shore centre. The answer is to phone during the day.
Hope this helps someone.
