Pipex are rubbish

After being with pipex for 4 years I have switched to Newnet (who are fantastic :T) I went live with newnet on the 6th August but pipex have still charged me for august to september. How can they justify this. I don't even use them anymore

You have to give them a month's notice of termination, it's their terms and conditions. I know, I got caught the same way.

I thought that notice of termination was from when you ask them for your MAC code? I left Pipex last month and just asked for the code presuming that was my notice of termination.

I would have thought so, yes. I didn't need a MAC as I moved house to a cabled area and decided to use Virgin Media.

I got the mac code on the 27th July, so shouldn't they just charge me until 27th august as that would be a month

Pipex have charged me for TWO months internet broadband since I left them!:mad: This is after I gave notice of quitting. And all because I moved my BT line 5 feet and they decided I would need to be a new customer with new customer tie-ins!!!:mad: They are the pits, and they WON'T be keeping my money:rotfl:

Ah right, ok thanks. I just had a hot sweat come on with the thought that I was still paying for their rather poor service.

I will be charged for part of the month which is better than I thought
