Are they the same price with the airline or expedia?

There was a post a while back re US domestic flights bought with Priceline.

You do need to do thorough research and know the restrictions IMHO before embarking on bidding for fligths for PL

My guide re Hotel bidding gives links to the forums that can help.

I haven't done it yet and so I will put a lower bid (including taxes) than I can get through other sites. BTW do you get good prices from expedia? I always get better from skyscanner etc (just my experience not saying it is universal).

Skyscanner is a price comparison site, not a retail site. They also link to a bunch of dodgy sellers so do not trust them blindly. To avoid trouble it's usually better to buy direct from the airline you are flying with.

You could try using ITA Matrix to get prices.
