Actually, it's quite straightforward. Every writer has a voice, and it's extremely easy to tell the difference. It's a very different case to handwriting analysis, where you're looking at a single visual representation.


Writing styles are composed of a huge number of elements including sentence structure, common vocabulary usage, regular colloquialisms, paragraph lengths, sentence lengths, repetitive misspellings, similarly structured stories or descriptions, grammatical construction, and others.


As I say, just because one or more people can't do it, doesn't mean it isn't possible (leaving aside both of your examples, which aren't comparable. I agree that astrology is, indeed, full of !!!!. Handwriting analysis is, however, slightly more reliable, albeit not much better than 50/50 probability of proving any given hypothesis as to the author).

You call it what you want.
But its more like if you accuse a hundred posters of being DM the odds are at least one of them will be so you'll get lucky at some point and claim victory.

If you stopped slinging accusations around and as I suggested previously, bothered to review previous DM-related posts you will find no allegations of being DM levelled at anyone who has not, subsequently, turned out to BE DM. Doubtless, you will say you don't have time to do so, but that's just a convenient mechanism for avoiding having to admit you are wrong in the accusations thrown at me.

I cannot speak for other posters, but I for one am able to tell the difference between a real new poster, and a recurrence of that trolling oxygen thief. The benefit of years of studying a number of languages is that I can quite readily spot regular posters' styles, even under alias.

Clearly, you would be happier if DM were allowed to remain here, whereas I would prefer genuine posters to receive the help and advice they seek without being fed inaccurate, and sometimes dangerously ill-informed advice from DM.

Symptoms sound like a misfire, very often due to a faulty coil. This can be confirmed by reading the fault codes and swapping the suspect coil to another spark plug, if the mis fire moves - replace the coil.
