Hi All


For years I have used Yahoo Messenger to communicate between me and my mum. I have it on my iphone and she has it on her desktop.


Anyway, it hasn't worked for the last few days on my iphone so I have uninstalled it, intending to install it again, but it has vanished from the app store!


So, I need another messenger app which can communicate between a desktop and an iphone! Can anyone make any suggestions?

I didn't think you could run whatsapp on a desktop as it needs a mobile number?

Pidgin on the PC and Hangout (or any other XMPP client) on the phone. Works for me on Android and my PC.
