Wednesday 7th October - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free!
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending!

Morning all

Grandma day today, so not much will get done
I have already washed the kitchen floor
All meals will be from stores
I need to finish the quince jelly I started yesterday, but probably won't get to this till this evening
Any surveys, FPL etc this evening
Make a batch of scones in a minute as baby GD always looks for 'cake' when she comes to Grandma's :rotfl: and I haven't got any! I will save the last bit of dough for her to play with - that will occupy her for a few minutes!
Not much spending planned - I would like a jar of pesto for a soup recipe I quite fancy trying.
Go to post office later
Use up more of fridge food stash
Not sure how much more I will get round to, but will check back later.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning DFW-Ninjas,
I'm on the 12:00-10:30pm shift today so I have this morning to work through some on my list. It'll be a challenging day as I have to work across two shifts which requires twice the brain power as I essentially have to do the same job with two sets of staff. Bring it on!
I'll write the list as I do it:
Debt-Free Nillionaire Month 4:
* Checked broadband allowance.
* Checked online banking.
* Tighten our financial plans for the week ahead.
* Checked all loyalty points.
* Take a packed lunch and a drink to work.
* Did GfK survey.
* DID i-Say surveys.
Catch you later folks.

Good morning all
So Baby Bob started off with efficiency on their due date! No one was more surprised than me having sailed over by 18 days with my son. After a full day and night of labouring at home we came to hospital yesterday at 9am (on the bus, snaps for money saving ways?)
And finally at 1.30am last night we met our new daughter. 7 pounds 15. So again much smaller than DS (he was 9lbs 10)
I'm absolutely cream cracked but she is a wonderful addition to our family.
Love to all
