Monthly and weekly are posted on the main board.

Yes, but as another has said, they are posted with their final end date - and many end daters, myself included, miss all those previous draws because they haven't been posted in the weekly / monthly thread or they don't visit that section.

Some users already post them each week, instead of having the one comp ending (for example) 26/11 - they'll post them as 08/10, 15/10, 22/10, 29/10, 05/11, 12/11, 19/11, 26/11 - making sure that people can track each comp and have more chance of entering before the end date of the weekly comp. I think weeowens has done one in the fab way with the iPad comps & daily telegraph.
    Thanks to all posters :A

They are meant to be posted with a weekly/monthly end date as appropriate (on the main) but whether they are or not is nothing to do with the "regulars" section.

The Rafflecopter board has been closed down, it is time the dailies, weekly, monthly and regular boards all went the same way.

There are comps on most of them that expired YEARS ago, below is just one example of many.

I think it would be so much easier for everyone if all comps bar the C2Ws and Daily Mags were all on the Main Board

My view as well, the Daily thread is good and worthwhile as is the C2W but on the whole its not needed in its current form
July 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books

    Year to date: £786

    Total to date ( Since 2008 ) = £37,345

Would this be a better idea ?

Clear out all the forum and just have a few threads such as
    MAG DAILIES
    CTW
    DAILY COMPS
    WEEKLY COMPS
    MONTHLY COMPS
    Etc

Then remove the "NEW THREAD" button, preventing any new threads from being made... the comps from the main page can then be linked to one of the threads in the "Regular Competition" forum

Thanks to all who have voted so far.

Just wanted to remind everyone the proposal is JUST about renaming to prevent posting in the wrong place. Current posting rules and customs & practice will remain unchanged and can be discussed at a later date.

Bumping this to ask as the poll is now closed what next?

As the Regular sub board does look a bit of a mess and suffers from a nasty case of the bumps at times can we have something new in it's place please?

There were some good ideas on this thread could the mods now have a look and maybe pick an option. Given we had loads of interest in the Advents and how they run surely the Regular competitions deserve a bit of a look?

After the poll closed, I contacted MSE Andrea highlighting this poll and previous threads about this. We will be informed of the result after discussions with the Forum Team.

It may be left unchanged, changed permanently, or changed on a trial basis to judge reactions and to see if it stops the mis-posting.

Thank you for the update and all your contributions to the forum.

Is it just me or do the words " We will be informed of the result after discussions with the Forum Team." sound like we will hear no more on this one..

I may just be being cynical but I remember the volunteer to be a BG thread.
