Scrap that sub section altogether - easy enough for people to bookmark comps if they wish to enter daily, weekly... etc

The Rafflecopter board has been closed down, it is time the dailies, weekly, monthly and regular boards all went the same way.

There are comps on most of them that expired YEARS ago, below is just one example of many.

I think it would be so much easier for everyone if all comps bar the C2Ws and Daily Mags were all on the Main Board

Is it really they think 'regular' means 'normal' and or is it just that they don't scroll down to see the main board. They see the list of sections and click on one. Would this not happen regardless of what you call it.


I don't visit that board much so I don't know much about the problem - is it mainly newbies doing it? If so - I think it'll happen regardless of name.


On the other item above about posting on the main board - totally agree. There are a LOT of people who end date. There's nothing worse for an end dater, than to click on a thread just before the end day, only to realise there has been 5/10/20 different comps run by the same company all listed as replies on the one thread. The big issue is that the end date is usually set to the date of the last comp meaning you have missed out on entering all the ones that come before.


How easy is it to edit titles? Could the date of the first comp be set as the end date - then when someone goes on (usually the same poster anyway) could they not then edit the end date to the date of comp 2, then comp 3, etc. Or is that not possible?

Monthly comps have been for ages and all weekly comps from earlier this year, if they are not on main it's just because no one has posted them.

basically with weekly comps it is a bit 'up in the air' if it's on the main board it should be a new thread for each comp/week, if you want an ongoing thread you update each week then it is in the regular board
but I agree they should probably all be the same so all on the main board and a new thread for each draw

ETA: yes it seems that people would like them all posted new each week so there wouldn't be a need for the weekly thread

all monthly comps will now be posted on the main board as a separate thread each month and will not have a link in the monthly sticky (one off register for a site and be entered into a draw promotions will still be on the regs board and there will be a sticky listing them)
