Sorry to hijack a little but on the subject of Hyundai; my partner is interested in the i30, is that as good as the i10?0

Bear in mind the poor quality finish on alloy wheels due to environmental regs, this is a bonus
My Nissan ones were leaking like sieves at 4 years old, the paint just wipes off in lumps.
The refurbished paint job has just about lasted 3 years.
OTOH, my colleague has a Hyundai 4wd thingie, and he has had 2 sets of alloys in 5 years under guarantee because they corrode so quickly....I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

So that's it then, all will be buying MINIS and soon to be driving a car fit for the road with non corroding alloys even and as well as:rotfl:I just knew even the crash test dummies would come round eventually:rotfl:0

She's now got a Fiat 500 and besides getting used the much smaller size, she loves it!
No where near paying the same amount of fuel a week as with the MINI.
Plus thinks she only pays something like £20-£30 a year in road tax which you can't really argue with.
Have heard the reliability isn't the best with these though although hers is still going pretty strong!
Road tax on the 1.2 is £30, the sport is £120 I think.
Reliability is generally quite good with the 500's, you get the odd issue reported on the forums as with all cars but there is no common theme across the brand other than an issue with the door handles on the earlier models.0 -

Ha ha you wont get those sounds or experience from a fiat 5000 -
My wife has a Cooper and we will certainly never buy another. It's had electrical problems almost from the day we purchased it which BMW have been unable cure. It failed it's last MOT because of a failure of a front suspension component which needed the engine to be dropped to replace it this cost a fortune to replace. I certainly wouldn't say the build quality was up to much either.0

Ha ha I don't want them.
Fact. Not everyone wants the same thing from a vehicle

I hope this link helps all those driving inferior cars, and I do hope all Fiat 500 drivers have one so that I can quickly have them in my rear view mirror after spotting the symbol

Ah yes with a 'proper' rotting rear sub frame. I remember them rotting in the 70's what they must be like now I dread to think
I'm in the camp of the modern BMW mini not being too good; heard plenty of bad things about them. get a Honda, Toyota, or Hyundai.0
