Good afternoon I have fallen foul of the 14 day rule for NIP, as I have a company car, the police have as long as they want to notify me of speeding convictions. My company were made aware within 14 days, the company passed on my details to police. I’ve had a letter through 4 months after the offence taking place. The case…

Friend of mine did something similar, ignored NIP, went to court, said didn't know who was driving as 5 other people insured on her car. Got 6 points and £1000 fine. Whilst she might have got away with not knowing, the not responding to the NIP is what got her.
